No injuries were reported but the incident did alarm several residents living nearby. Sawang Boriboon rescuers and the Chonburi fire department responded to a fire that was engulfing a sedan on a local road in the Khao Mai Kaeo sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi. At the scene, a Honda Dimension sedan was being consumed by a fire. Its driver, 26-year-old Mr. Wasuthep Wechlumrit, was at the scene, uninjured but shocked by the incident, according to rescuers. Some nearby residents were also attracted by the fire and surprised and alarmed by the incident.
