Poor Children,  their lives on the hands of brainless drivers. What a trauma for them.

Passenger van drivers (from the same company) usually bet on who can do the fastest time from A to B. The winner gets the money at the end of the day.

You seem to be blaming the van driver for this, have you read other reports somewhere?

I am willing to bet that one of the two vehicles was left of center.

Most Thais do not know how to stay in their lane when rounding a bend in the road or making a turn. Seems like they are too weak to turn the steering wheel as needed or just too lazy!

Most Thais DO know how to stay in their lane when rounding a bend in the road. That's how they manage to end their journey safely.

From where did you get that 'pearl of wisdom?'

Just because they cross over the centerline doesn't mean there is always an accident.

Well no because the many amulets located in their vehicles and about their persons will protect them a lot of the time!

'Lose control'? More like too lazy to stay in their own lane!

They do?

Since you seem to know a lot about this, if the passenger van (from the same company) gets hit by another vehicle on the wrong side of the road, are all bets off?

I’ve driven the 1020 countless times, it’s a pretty safe highway, some curves. Never seen any accidents on that highway before. Though I do see a lot of accidents on 120 between phayao and wangnuea when it’s wet, counted 5 one day, taking the curves too fast, mostly newer vehicles
