What is the highest interest rate saving or time-deposit?

I invest in (unsecured) debentures or bonds. Period is generally 2 to 4 years. Depending on the risk rating of the issuing company, the interest rates are 3% to 7.5%. New issues are published daily on www.thaibma.or.th if you are able to read thai script.

Even the highest rate , will be below inflation ,

As of last Friday most banks were showing 1.25-1.35 % pa on a Fixed deposit. That is for 12 mths. 24 mths is a tad higher.
