Popular Post soi3eddie
The continued easy persecution of users vs traffickers shows a weakness in the law enforcement in Thailand. Users should be offered immunity from prosecution for identifying the source. Would be a far more effective deterrent for traffickers. I heard that a tab of YaBaa or YaIce is now as low as 10 Baht. Hooks in so many potential users. Destroys lives. Go after the peddlers, not the easily impressioned young users. 3

Going to have to assume that theses 13 were either so far out of it they failed to recognise the checkpoint or that they have a really low IQ

Seems, the aim, if it was one, to replace abuse of those drugs with the use of cannabis backfired, as it, possibly, only made them cheaper... The RTP know that people breaking the law will try to avoid a checkpoint so they place them behind a blind turn. If the other side of the checkpoint is exposed they will place an officer on a motorcycle 200 meters out to pull over anyone that U turns. Lastly, checkpoints that are examining urine are very uncommon in Phuket so the people going through may have thought it was a normal checkpoint.
