Rinrada
Etti Air-update Met up with some friends last night in pub (as previously stated)to find out opinion of the new Etti Airways-London-Abu-Dhabi-Bangkok shuttle and by all accounts it would appear to have been an Excellent flight/trip As previously mentioned there was only a hour stopover in both directions at Abu Dhabi (not typ "rag-ead" flophouse like...Dhahran,Riyadh,"Dam"as-cuss,Bay-root,Basra,Algiers et al) Good cafes,Resturants and "eavens elp us"-shopping The service, food, inflight Ents (little TVs in the seat backs)and unlimited and copious amounts of booze were all it seems top notch. So hightly reccom. especially @ £300 a throw.R/T Friends were based in Pits and have a look and travelled a lot around on Air Asia-Not Impressed but found Thai-Orient a much better outfit. Now back in Blighty to pay for next one
bigalsouth
we just got back and I must say that we were very impressed with the standard of service provided by Etihad. Timely flights, high standard of in-flight meals (incl. fillet steak) and entertainment and free drinks together with a very short stop-over in Abu Dhabi made for a very pleasant trip. Also v.cheap (our flights came to GBP318.00 incl. taxes).
