Husband forced wife to engage in sexual activities with other men, citing wife's preference for group sex

BURI RAM: -- A man was apprehended by the police in Nang Rong District, Buri Ram Province, with the assistance of the authorities in Wang Saphung District.

 

The man had been coercing his wife into engaging in sexual activities with strangers to satisfy his drug habit, reported Thai Rath.

 

Initially, when he was caught trying to escape to Loei Province, where he had been staying with his mother, the suspect denied the allegations, instead claiming that his wife willingly participated in group sex and agreed to film their encounters.

 

The case was brought to the attention of the police by a woman named Ms. A (pseudonym), aged 31.

 

On May 15th, 2023, she filed a complaint in Nang Rong District, Buri Ram Province, seeking legal action against her 27-year-old husband, Mr. M (pseudonym).

 

She accused him of forcing her to engage in intimate activities with an unknown man she had never met before.

 

These incidents occurred on two occasions at a resort in Nang Rong District. Ms. A also disclosed that her husband had secretly recorded their encounters to intimidate her.

 

He threatened to post the footage on social media platforms if she refused to comply. As a result, she requested that the police take action against her husband and the man who had been coerced into engaging in sexual activities with her.

 

The latest development in the case occurred on May 16th when officers from Nang Rong District Police, in collaboration with their counterparts in Wang Saphung District, Loei Province, located and arrested Mr. M (pseudonym), aged 27, in Wang Saphung District.

 

He was found working as a hired laborer on his mother's farm in Loei Province. Mr. M, during the arrest, did not resist but denied the allegations made by his wife, stating that she willingly sought out other partners due to her preference for group sex and agreed to film their encounters.

 

Despite his denial, the police detained Mr. M and brought him back to Nang Rong District Police Station for further investigation.

 

After the initial questioning by the investigating officers, the following charges were filed against the suspect: participation in forced sexual activities through threats or coercion, the use of violent force to prevent the victim from resisting, and the capturing of images or audio recordings of these acts with the intention of seeking personal or illegitimate gains.

 

These actions involved deceiving others and utilizing intimidation tactics, including the threat of violence, abuse of power, or any other coercive means.

 

These charges were filed to initiate legal proceedings in accordance with the law.
