A renowned school in Sisaket Province was gripped by a shocking incident yesterday, as two young students in Mor 1 and Mor 2 engaged in a fatal altercation using a knife.

The incident, which unfolded during school hours, resulted in one student's tragic death and left several others injured.

According to witnesses and initial reports, the incident began when the two boys had been engaging in what seemed to be a playful boxing game during their lunch break. However, the game soon turned violent, fueling anger in one of the boys. As the lunch break drew to a close and class resumed, tensions remained high between the two students.

Attempting to defuse the escalating situation, a teacher rushed to the aid of a student who had been stabbed. Tragically, it became apparent that the injuries sustained by the young victim were severe and in critical areas of the body. Despite immediate efforts to save the student's life, their condition deteriorated rapidly, resulting in their untimely demise.

The altercation also left several other students injured, with three individuals bearing the brunt of the scuffle. School authorities wasted no time in alerting the appropriate authorities, promptly notifying investigators to the distressing scene. The injured students were swiftly transported to Sisaket Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Prior to the incident, it had become known that the two boys had been engaged in a lunchtime boxing game. However, the intensity and aggressive nature of their play seemed to have fueled anger within one of the boys. As the lunch break drew to a close, the unresolved conflict led to a confrontation, escalating into a physical fight.

To the shock of those present, it was revealed that one of the students had come prepared, armed with a pocket knife. In the heat of the moment, the student unleashed a series of stabbing motions, targeting their fellow student's chest and body. The victim's injuries proved fatal, as they succumbed to their wounds on the spot.

In a testament to the teacher's courage and quick thinking, they managed to apprehend the child responsible for the crime before law enforcement arrived to survey the scene. During subsequent questioning, the child perpetrator admitted to employing a real knife, driven by personal anger. As a result, the officer promptly detained the student, and appropriate legal proceedings will follow in accordance with the law.

The devastating incident has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting an outpouring of grief and concern for the affected students, their families, and the entire school community. In times like these, it is paramount for authorities and educators to rally together, offering support, counseling services, and increased security measures to prevent such tragic events from occurring in the future.

Update:

1 student is dead and 2 students are in coma.

A devastating incident unfolded at a renowned school in Sisaket province, northeast Thailand, as a confrontation between seventh and eighth-grade students escalated into a fatal knife fight, resulting in one fatality and three injuries. The school promptly informed the police, who started an investigation to pursue legal measures.

Yesterday, May 29, amidst the sombre atmosphere of grieving teenage students, a fight broke out between students from two different classes at a well-known school in Sisaket province. The confrontation quickly escalated into a knife fight, resulting in one student lying dead on the school grounds. Teachers managed to intervene and provide assistance to the injured students, but one of them suffered critical wounds, making it impossible to save his life.

Three other students were injured during the brawl, including two who had sustained serious injuries. The school promptly contacted the local police, who are now investigating the case and proceeding with legal action. Meanwhile, the injured students were transported to a nearby hospital in Sisaket for treatment. It is believed that the conflict began when student A and student B fought during their lunch break. This escalated, with student A taunting student B more aggressively, causing anger and tensions to rise.

From the headline, it says they fatally stabbed each other, but only one died in reality. It also says they were in Grade 1 and 2. They look a bit old to be Grade 1 and 2. Must be  Mor 1 and 2.

Mor 2.

Sanctity of every human soul should be taught to every teens …. At Mor 1 & 2 raging hormones may be one of the culprits. Everyday playing  ‘war games’ environment on their phones can create a false reality of their world believing the dead can come back alive. Don’t they know death is a one way street and you are culpable for your actions? Throwing away the future over a trivial dispute.

From my 15 yrs experience as a teacher here in Thailand it is highly likely that the students were left unattended as it was lunchtime. Many a time I have been witness to students physically assaulting each other during the lunch break. Not a homeroom teacher or assistant in sight is normal for govt. and private schools both primary and secondary level. My many suggestions to stagger teacher lunch break times was never more than nodded at. The most notorious age for aggression is M2 (Mathyom) due to the hormones. Broken noses, compass stabbings, glass classroom doors smashed the list goes on, are all par for the course; sadly.

We never had teacher patrols when I was in grade 7, 8, 9 or 10 in UK.

11 and 12 is sixth form. No teacher patrols there either.

Why not? Lunchtime? Teachers should have a duty to care to their students at all times. Leaving kids alone to let off steam is neglectful in my book.

We had teachers and "dinner ladies" around in junior school. Not in senior school.
