Are you doing regular stretches? As you get older, stretching becomes very important.

A good stretching regimen along with brisk walking or swimming may be better at your age than bench presses and the like.

If after doing regular stretches this persists and if the pain is in more than one joint, might be wise to see a rheumatologist.

Yesterday I noticed the area above my penis below the stomach to be swelling. Might be the lymph node area actually. Just one side is swollen.  I think I do need to see a specialist. With swelling in this area do you still think a rheumatologist is the best dr? Its been over a week since I was doing too many bench presses. Last night massive aches in my left shoulder area still from this over exercise. Knee pain in one knee was painful yesterday but ok today. Should I still see the R dr do you think? thanks

No.

This might be a lymph node or a hernia.

Best just start with an internistif it persists.
