Male government officials now can take 15 day paternity leave on full pay

Thailand’s government officials now have the right to take 15 consecutive working days paternity leave on full pay, to take care of their wives after child delivery, according to an edictsigned on May 23rd by Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam in his capacity as the executive chief of government officials.

Yellow Line Conducts First Trial to Much Fanfare in Samut Prakan

BANGKOK (NNT) - The first trial run of the Yellow Line monorail on June 3 drew much excitement among commuters at Samrong station in Samut Prakan province, as it introduced a new transportation option while offering an alternative to tackle the area’s infamous traffic congestion.
