(Mueang) Surin Girls, Freelancers

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi there,

I am visiting an old (old as in age and knowing each other) friend in Surin.

I would like to take him out to Surin to have some fun with girls and also maybe enter a private room, if you know what I mean. ????

What would be the best places to visit for such a thing? I'd assume most of it is in Surin City.

I am looking for bars (girl bars, not just drinking bars),

@Bday Prang already shared some great info on this as follows:

Quote

Surin town center is a lively place plenty of bars in the town center around the Tongtarin hotel which is only 5 min from the bus station  Haven't had a night out their since before covid but there is a "tawandaeng" place with live music, always fun and often jam packed with totty many student types in there too. there's a whole strip of bars  in the same area some are owned and frequented by westerners, there even  used to be a couple of gogo bars too but I'm not sure if they reopened after covid

You won't have to look hard to get a drink   there's a Thai saying  "bai surin gin surah tae mai dai gin surah mai dai bai surin"  if you go to surin drink alcohol, if you didn't drink then  you haven't really been to surin"  there is a bit of a drinking culture in surin which is quite well known in Thailand

I don't really know of any actual brothels as such, I'm sure they exist but will be set up to cater for Thais ask a tuk tuk guy if you are looking. They will probably be more expensive than Pattaya though!

Plenty of "massage" parlours / karaoke type places but they tend to come and go just look for the usual flashing fairy lights

On the way to the border and about 25km from surin center is Prasat,  there's a few farang bars there and a few "happy endings to be had in the "meung mai" area, just outside the town center, which gets quite busy on a friday night

And a bit of pay for play is available on the cambodian side of the border in O'smach just ask a taxi guy or one of the touts who will be offering to help you with your visa. They all speak pretty good english and will be only to willing to help, probably going to offer you some viagra anyway, they usually do

There is also the casinos  I never went in the casino but I've seen some nice looking girls going in there  Cambodian by the look of them (slightly bigger tits)

On the whole you can expect to have fun, and you may well get some more info if you start a new thread,

Any tipps appreciated.

Btw, I am fluent in Thai so any "Thai only" establishments are also welcome.

//EDIT

Just saw that it is posted in the wrong category, but I cannot move nor delete the post.

@ Mods, please move to correct category. Thx.

For an old guy, Tawandeang might be too loud, with flashing laser lights too. I believe what you want, you will not find in Surin. Sure, there are some busy Thai music bars but the days of Gogo bars, are long gone. I had a pub-crawl around there 10days ago.

Take him to Pattaya!

You can find what you are looking for in Surin. In fact, I remember a self confessed expert on such matters posting here once something on the lines of " there is a karaoke bar with short time girls in every village".

You will, however, need to go Thai style. That is to say, you will need to step away from the main entertainment area of Tawandeang., although you mentioned freelancers and there will be some there but you will have to hope they approach you rather than you asking.

The places you will find will likely have no English speaking girls or staff so language could be an issue. You'll be looking for smaller outlets with Christmas style lights flickering outside. A bit out of town in most directions would be the best bet.

Thai style is actually preferred, and language is not an issue.

Yeah, there is probably something in every major town or village, and I will be asking around, but why not get some info from people who actually have experience in that area.

Arrange girls upfront via dating site and take them out, I guess, is usually best in remote places.

I wouldn't say Surin was a " remote place". It's grown and developed a lot since I was first there in 1998.

Besides, where there are randy Thai males, there are ladies prepared to take care of them. In fact, going out with a few Thai guys, as I used to in my single days, is the best policy. They know the places that expats are totally unaware of, as I found out a few times. We used to visit places that were not all lit up with welcome signs or girls outside. Behind closed doors places that expats alone likely wouldn't be let into.

Obviously, but that is for any place. In Bangkok you can also go to Thai gogo's and still have tons of fun with just 1-1.5K baht. It is a remote place, the middle of nowhere. Just as much as khon kaen is boring, yeah I am aware of it's size and population.

My comment about every village was actually tongue in cheek as it was from the same source that says there's nothing in Surin.

Major towns, even main town areas of smaller districts, I agree.

Thanks for the laugh.

Generally speaking, remote in the middle of nowhere places don't appear on the rail network, on major bus routes or an easy drive from a domestic airport. Neither would they boast two immigration offices.

Surin might be quieter than what you are used to, most likely as a large place like Khon Kaen is what you describe as "boring", but it most certainly is not remote.

I checked the info for Hat Yai, apparently updated 19th April 2023, that claims The Pubb is still operating, it closed nearly 10 years ago!

So would treat that site's info with a bag of salt.

I once asked a tuk tuk driver (nearly 40 years ago in Nakhon nowhere) to help me find women. He took me to his friend. Then he told me "You can f…his wife. 300 baht!" 555

You are embarrassed to not be a sex tourist? Or you are embarrassed to never have asked the all knowing "wins" yourself, because otherwise you could actually be useful to this thread and not just troll. But I won't say not more... don't feed the trolls. ????

Yepp, that is actually not too uncommon to even "pimp out" their own gf/wife. ????

2 silly posts in a row ... well done.

Tuk tuk driver was best reply (IMHO), as the worldly traveler would know.   Though karaoke was good, but need a tuk tuk driver to take you to the right place.

Some of the replies are a bit embarrassing, as useless, but more so, is you state you speak fluent Thai.   How was that possible, and you not know how to find nightlife, in any Thai city.

That you have to ask, is a bit embarrassing.  Even with my limited, very limited Thai, I'd be able to find nightlife anywhere here, if wanting.

Good luck in your quest ... have fun
