Hi, Ive been watching some great old TV programs from tv-links.co.uk but am unable to save them. They are hosted by the likes of Google & Youtube & streamed using Adobe player 9. Is there a way around this? Thanks....

I've used a program named Camtasia sometimes to capture some clips. But that prog is payware.

With that prog you can capture all activities you can see on your computer screen. I also use it sometimes to capture some procedures or others while working with some software to show that procedures to my clients.

for Mac's, i use an Safari plugin called "flvr" - it's not freeware, but works nicely.

I use the camstudio from sourceforge.com. you can record whole screen or pick and size a box like the screen you want recorded and record that. It saves to AVI format and it is free google camstudio sourceforge. or try http://www.rendersoftware.com/products/camstudio I think the version there is also free

Have you tried vixy.net? You give it the address of the flash video, and it converts it to avi or mp4 and gives you a link to download it.
