If the white house had not met with the social media executives and had  arbitrarily issued an Executive order or passed legislation to regulate media companies , fox news entertainment network would have been up in arms that Biden is trying to limit free speech.

  So the Biden administration meets with these executives to see what they cand to regulate their product. 

Isn't self  regulation  what the Media companies wanted? No need to pass legislation, they said , we will regulate  ourselves, all need to do is communicate your concerns they said.

t will be appealed and overturned, 

otherwise if the federal covermount is not allowed to meet and voice concerned over self regulation, then the only choices remaining are anarchy , or legislative regulation.
