Car Runs over and Kills Homeless Foreigner in Sattahip

Sattahip — An alleged homeless foreigner in Sattahip reportedly ran in front of a motorbike, got crashed into, and then was run over by a passing car.


The accident took place on Sukhumvit Road inbound to the Sattahip district within the Na Jomtien district at 11:30 PM today, July 12th. After being notified, the authorities went to inspect the site.

 

At the scene of the accident, one injured person was found on the road, with abrasions to the body and face. He was later identified as Mr. Wichit Raksakhoi, 38. His Honda Forza 350 cc motorbike was discovered nearby. Mr. Wichit was transferred to a local hospital.

I think locals are quite generous to such people, and I hear many instances where someone regularly supplies them with food and water.  Health services are probably lacking but so they are in the West, you have to go seek them out,

if he was from Cambodia or Myanmar then I highly doubt that

Have no money for an airticket?

"Foreigner" doesn't mean he comes from a country where you can claim assistance. ????

It says foreigner he could be from Cambodia or Myanmar like most foreigners in Thailand are.

A lot of those programs are hard to access when you most need them, at least in the USA. They are bureaucratic nightmares. They sound good in theory.
