In a turn of events surrounding the Thai Airways corruption saga, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has aborted all charges against Thaksin Shinawatra, the former prime minister, and three others.

it was a foregone conclusion

Do you have any "proof" to prove otherwise... just hating Thaksin isn't peoof.

Not hating the man only the things that he's done . that's why he's in Exile.

He is in exile for being accused of trumped up charges IMO! Why wasn't an Interpol "Red Notice" issued for his arrest? The dinosaur brigade were just glad to see the back of him!!!

Trumped up charges in many peoples eyes but still guilty in many other peoples eyes .

Someone made the law  and according to them the man is guilty .

Maybe the law is wrong but you know politics is a very dirty busyness.

In the end we can't do anything about that. the people at the top in charge they have the say.

It doesn't matter who's the next PM there always be trouble .

Does this mean the poor old man can finally come home to be with his grandchildren?

Heck no..... other charges and convictions stand. He got 5 for holding phone shares (Shin Corp).
