Seamaster
Is Thailand or are Thais restricted from monetizing social media by FB, YouTube, TikTok, etc? Not product sales, but actually money paid from stated corporations for views. What are banking, deposit and tax issues in Thailand? We can skip any only fans discussion, thanks

proton
Don't YT pay you from the USA so taxed there and as such cannot be re taxed here? They might crack down on Thai vloggers not have a WP, one can only hope with some of them!
Seamaster
The media entity would be my wife's. From what I understand only select countries can be paid. Thailand wasn't on the list.

She had to give Youtube her Thai id and etc. Which is the same way you would if you lived in the USA. You have to give them all of your tax info and etc. YT will not pay anyone until you give them all the paperwork needed. 1

chrischronic
Thai citizens are registered in Thailand via Google, and payment rates differ based on the country of residence. There was a recent article about the Tax department going after social media earners, which you can find with a quick Google search. They are urging those individuals to pay taxes in Thailand. Additionally, there are a few YouTube videos uploaded by lawyers and others, explaining the taxation rules for YouTubers in Thailand. Seppius
Just search Thailand on YouTube, thousands are doing it, a few make decent money, there is a site somewhere that tells you what people are making on YouTube, forgot its name. I looked a few of the farang bloggers, making more than teachers for sure
