A Thai food blogger took up Burger King Thailand‘s challenge to taste the newly launched Real Meat Burger with a staggering 100 meat patties, priced at a jaw-dropping 10,039 baht.

The fast-food franchise is delighting foodies with an array of unexpected burger selections, ranging from the Real Cheeseburger, generously loaded with 20 slices of American cheese, to the towering Real Meat Burger, which starts with three succulent meat patties and can be scaled up all the way to an astonishing 100 patties.

In response to fervent requests from Burger King fans, the Real Meat Burger made its debut on July 18. As mentioned in a post on the shop’s official Facebook page, the Real Meat Burger comes with three meat patties nestled between buns, priced at 339 baht. Pork is also available as an alternative option for customers.

Not stopping at that, the shop tantalizingly suggested that meat enthusiasts can pile on even more patties on their bun, at an additional 100 baht for each extra patty. The page admin thoughtfully included a price list for followers: a burger with four meat patties costs 439 baht, five meat patties are priced at 539 baht, 10 meat patties will set you back 1,039 baht, and the awe-inspiring 100 patties cost a staggering 10,039 baht.

Several food bloggers decided to take up the Real Meat Burger challenge and shared their daring reviews with followers. The famous promotion platform, Punpromotion, shared that they ordered the burger with 12 patties. After trying, the platform recommended adding some greens and sauce and doing some exercise after the heavy meal.

Wasting food in a developing country is an abomination.  Shame on these people.

I guess BK has a new marketing manager in Thailand. Constantly in the news. And I imagine, there'll be AN members saying they want to try this right now. So it seems to be a good investment in marketing.

Looking at the videos my gf watches from time to time, there are enough Thai people on YouTube, who eat kilos of this and that.

And many people (sorry, I didn't look if thousands or millions), watch it.

Those channels wouldn't exist is nobody would watch them.

Idiots, all of them!

P.S.: Apart from that she is a nice girl. ????

Why are you looking at the videos that your gf watches?

You need either a new gf or should get out more.

(Sorry....my attempt at humour trusted fellow poster. Do I sound like another poster?....my bad!)

She lives together with me and sometimes I see what she is watching. No, I don't spend time looking at those videos in detail.

Like I said, apart from that she is a nice girl. There are girls out there with worse habits...

a Real Cheeseburger

Yum.

Any suggestions where to get one in Sakon Nakhon?

Maybe Joey Chestnut should switch to burgers.

Not sure the guy pictured in the OP photos was entirely wasting his food...

From the full version of the article:

"In the comment session, the blogger shared that he made another delicious dish with leftover meat patties. He posted a picture of stir-fried holy basil, also known as Pad Kaprao, made from meat patties."

Though if he used all 90+ of the beef patties he didn't eat from the so-called burger, that must have been A LOT of pad krapao...

I think BK's burger patties are about 100 grams apiece... So if he had 90 leftover, that would have been 9 KILOS of leftover beef!

This is why these days ,,,

Thailand once a country of fit looking people now resembles other fast food nations

Yeah right, the chances of eating that lot and exercising afterwards I would assume are pretty low

The guy doesn't look too healthy...

Thais and their obsession for the food… BS

9 kilos of recovered meat products.

Never been a fan of these food challenges. What's the point?

FUN FACTS:

From BK's website: regular bk hamburger 258 calories, plain bk patty (no bun) 148 cal . So about 15,000 cal total.

And that entire stack also has a total of 2g of fiber and 223,000mg sodium.

The B109 cheese sang with 20 slices, however is a deal. If you consider that stuff cheese and if you eat that stuff.

12 pack of similar costs B109 to B129. So if you buy a BK cheese sang, your getting B181 worth of cheese for B109. Should be of interest to pinch-a-penny expats as you save B72.

This cannot be real. Please tell me it's satire.

100 burger patties would last me about 3 months at 1 per day. That assumes I would even eat 1 per day for 3 months.

Not really a maths wiz.

More a case of eating less, and knowing that 1 homemade burger on its own is sometimes more that I can eat at a time.

Similar to the Rambo movies LOL

Makes me feel sick just looking at that big pile of food.

Is it real cheese cheese or imported "non cheese" from the US  which is very big there.

I have yet to find any sliced packaged cheese that does not taste like plastic.

Gimmee a good Brie or Mainland Vintage
