Got to hand it to Pita, he was way more polite about his circumstances than I could ever be. He came across as intelligent and  articulate displaying a great deal of maturity considering the nonsense he has had to deal with.

 

Compare this to the child like bleatings of his opponents who would have us believe that they have our best interests at heart and they know better.

Putin gets voted in as do other dictators. The vote is rigged there but here the parliament structure is rigged. It was obvious that Hegemony is at the centre of this.

 

Either way it´s a democracy by name only. The elections could only have 1 result and it won´t be a change of control of the government and never will be.

 

So just get on with it as it never going to change without a revolution and most people can´t be assed to wave a pitchfork.

Let's cancel elections every 4 years and just leave the Military and the Elites to control the country. Elections are pointless.

How many countries in S.E. Asia have democratic elections, Cambodia have just had an election, it was from Democratic !

In all honesty, if a new government is not put in after an election due to 250 un-appointed senators wrecking Thai democracy, I would have to say the appointment of the old unelected government would be seen as an unofficial coup. 

Like I have been saying MF only win about 30% of the electoral votes. There are still 65% of electoral population that did not vote for MF. It’s fake news to say MF won the elections. From the look of it, it is a hung election - with no party being a clear winner and each group needs the other to form a government.. so Pita did not win. He is just one bloc consisting of only 30% voters

This isn't the US with just 2 parties. It doesn't work like that here.

How many times does it have to be said? PT, join MFP in opposition. Leave the dogs to fight over the scraps left behind. Anutin has said he won't join a minority government. They won't have a prayer.

Wrong to say Thai people can't be bothered about this, a lot of anger out there. However, a lot of voices cautioning and telling people to wait and see how this shapes up before taking to the streets, they don't want to give this lot the opportunity to claim negotiations were the right way to go about this.

Told you the handsome fellow with the most expensive watches on the planet will be PM, elected or not.  Assuming he can stay awake or not pick his nose in front of a camera.  A true dog and pony show.

In 10 months time the unelected senators will be unemployed the Thai people have already had to put up with the regime for 9 years so 10 months is nothing better for the coalition to be the opposition and oppose the minority government every time they try to pass legislation when the unelected clowns are out of office put a vote of no confidence in and call a General Election MFP will win by a mile and those who opposed the party will be lucky to win any seats in future elections

Us farang are laughing or shaking our heads.... what are the millions of Thai thinking? 

 

Obviously the junta government couldn't care less and they obviously have zero ethics... I can't imagine any foreign country wanting any trade with this government. Zero trust.

It's not complaining... it's supporting the Thai and understanding their struggle. We're attending a wake of sorts

No other outcome could be further from the intention of the voters. I do hope the electorate will not allow this to pass.
