Due to charges of lying to the clerk's office, the judge presiding over Hunter Biden's criminal case threatened Biden's legal team with fines.

In order to purportedly have material about IRS whistleblowers removed from the docket, Hunter Biden's attorney is charged with flouting the rules of court. Judge Maryellen Noreika of Delaware gave Biden's legal counsel till Tuesday night at 9 p.m. to present their case.

In particular, a member of Hunter's legal team is accused of lying about her identity when requesting to have amicus documents removed from the docket. Instead of formally asking the court for the information to be sealed, she allegedly called the clerk to do so.

"The Court has discussed the matter with the relevant individuals in the Clerk's Office and has been informed that the caller, Ms. Jessica Bengels, represented that she worked with Mr. Kittila and requested the amicus materials be taken down because they contained sensitive grand jury, taxpayer and social security information," the order read.

Fox News was able to get a letter from Biden's legal team explaining to the judge that the clerk had appropriately described her affiliation with her law firm during the phone discussion.

THE CLAIM MADE BY BIDEN THAT HE HAD NO IDEA OF HUNTER'S BUSINESS DEALINGS IS BECOMING MORE IMPOSSIBLE TO SUPPORT

The lawyers' defence stated, "The matter under consideration appears to be the result of an unfortunate and unintentional misunderstanding between a staff member at our firm and employees of the Court." "We don't know how the miscommunication happened, but from what we understand, there was no misrepresentation,"

The letter continued, "We hope this letter and the declaration attached dispels any implication that the undersigned counsel or our staff would ever intentionally misrepresent or mislead the Court with respect to any matter."

On Wednesday, Biden will enter a guilty plea to two counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax, which are misdemeanours. According to reports, The First Son failed to pay more than $100,000 in taxes on profits of over $1.5 million in 2017 and 2018.

Sweetheart deal! Lol! That's only your biased interpretation. The fact that Hunter Biden's attorney refused the new deal and advised his client to plead not guilty is surely not an indicator that the final outcome will be worse than the initial deal.

From the article you linked:

"Both sides had motivation to reach an agreement. For Hunter Biden, this was a chance to close the books on a tax investigation that has been hanging over him for years. For prosecutors, the deal avoided the risks of trying a case in Biden-friendly Delaware, against a defendant who failed to file taxes while in the throes of addiction. "

The way I understand it is the hunter team thought this would end the hounding of the president’s only surviving son apparently the Republicans want to still get at the president through his only surviving son.perhaps if they crucified hunter then shot commander the dog in front of the Biden grandchildren the Republicans would be happy?doubt it another thing that surprises me is the lack of scrutiny jariod and ivanka are getting from their sweetheart 2 billion loan in the waning days of the trump (administration) from the Saudis you know the folks that had a large part of 911 and who are milking every dime they can get for oil

...and predictably, the "b-b-but Trump!" deflection shows up withing the first five comments.  Poor persecuted Hunter, unable to fund his drugs and hookers.

"Investigating felonies" is not hounding.  The Bidanos are in some serious legal trouble, not just Hunter but potentially his father as well. The thin tissue of lies that began with Joe saying "I never discussed my son's business with him" is rapidly falling apart.

Any actual thoughts on the topic of the discussion? Tax fraud, drug use, illegal weapons possession, breaking the FARA Act?

The "Bidanos"? Just another variant of the "Biden Crime Family" nonsense. There is no solid evidence at all that Joe Biden has committed any crime. Evaporating witnesses and uncorroborated hearsay do not provide much in the way of support for such allegations.

Do you actually believe that a father and son who are as close as Hunter and Joe are, NEVER spoke about what Hunter was doing? Really? Joe never paused to think to himself, "hmmm, wonder where Hunter is getting all the cash for the hookers and crank and sports cars? Meh, never mind"

They flew to China together on Air Force 2 and only chatted about baseball and the price of farm equipment in Iowa? It beggars belief.

Do you think maybe Hunter didn't want his father to know about his business? After all, if Archer's potential testimony is to be believed, Hunter Biden would put his unsuspecting father on speakerphone so his business associates could hear him talking with his son.

”Hi, dad? Hunter here. Just chilling at the Four Seasons in Dubai. Hanging with a couple Ukranian guys from Burisma. Wanna say 'hi' for me?"

No. You've got it wrong. As the article says, Hunter didn't let his father know that anyone was listening in.

Are you sure? According to the article in the OP;

Archer is expected to testify that Hunter called his father, who was in Washington, D.C., at the time, and introduced the Ukrainians by their first names. Then the younger Biden emphasized that the Burisma executives "need our support."

Then-Vice President Biden acknowledged the Ukrainians, as he did in other calls with Hunter’s business partners, but kept the conversation brief, Archer is expected to testify.

In other words, hunter calls his father and tells him that he's with a couple of Ukrainians. Short of hanging up on his son, what could Biden do? It looks like an ambush.  Sounds to me like Joe Bidend did what he had to to get out of that phone call as quickly as possible. Nothing in what you cited speaks to Biden involving himself in his son's business.

And as Archer allegedly clalms,, most of these conversations were initiated without Biden knowing that he was put on speakerphone.

And what does this conversation have in common with the lunacy you posted?

In other words, Joe of several years ago was sharper than the shambling ruin we see today. He understood the situation and didn't need to go into detail over an unsecured phone line.  You think Hunter was just having his dad say "hi" to a couple of his fishing buddies? Nah, Joe was smart enough to pick up on things and read the room.

More to follow for sure.

In other words? Really? Once again, there is absolutely no incriminating evidence of Joe Bidens being involved in Hunter Biden's business dealings. If you think a phone call like this one is incriminating evidence, then you've got really low standards. Come to think of it, given the ridiculous dialogue you previously provided, you do have low standards.

YET.

How about Hunter's lawyers lying?

They must work for Fox I assume, since according to the lefties, Fox and the republicans are the only liars, and all lefties are honest.

You should learn to read more carefully? What does the word "allegation" mean to you?

Step by step, but we get there

Hmmm. If your claim that there is no smoke without fire is true, what does that say about Trump's prospects given that he's already been indicted in one case and it doesn't look too good for him in at least one of the others as well?

It's quite scandalous that the Trump administration obstructed the investigation into Hunter Biden! ????

Thank you thank you thank you!  I'm going to use this every time someone uses the term "witch-hunt" regarding another high visibility political figure being investigated for numerous serious crimes.
