The police had expanded their investigation after arresting a local drug dealer, Somboon (surname withheld), who was caught with a quantity of methamphetamine in his car while leaving a well-known pig farm in the city, reported Daily News. Despite trying to quit narcotics three days before ordination, he had relapsed into addiction during his monastic training, secretly taking 3-4 pills daily. Picture: Daily News He expressed his genuine desire to quit drugs permanently but was caught before he could achieve it. Both suspects are now in custody, awaiting further legal actions. It appears to me he was just trying to escape being caught. Become a monk, hide out, sell a few pills to the local teenagers, hey, nice life. Maybe squeeze in a girlfriend once in awhile.
