webfact
Picture: Siam Rath On July 31st, at 6:00 PM, Pol. Lt. Jiraporn Chanararn, from the Din Daeng Police Station, received a report of a fatal accident involving a collision between a motorbike and a ten-wheeler cement truck on Jaturatit Road, near the Beung Makkasan area, heading towards Phra Ram 9 in the Ratchathewi district, Bangkok. At the scene, investigators came across the motionless body of Miss Pimparn, a 23-year-old woman, lying face down, gravely injured in the head region. Beside her, there was a blue Keeway Shiny 150cc motorcycle, conspicuously lacking a license plate and exhibiting visible scratch marks, reported Siam Rath. Another injured individual, identified as Mr. Saranyu (surname withheld), aged 29, a motorbike rider, sustained minor injuries. He was immediately taken to Phetvej Hospital, located about 100 meters away. The other vehicle involved was an Isuzu ten-wheeler cement truck, registered in Bangkok, parked on the left lane. The driver, Mr. Worapong (surname withheld), aged 21, an employee of a construction company, admitted to driving the truck at the time of the accident. Preliminary investigations revealed that Miss Pimparn had requested a motorcycle taxi service via an app, and Mr. Saranyu was the driver who responded to her request. Owing to the congestion on the road and the curvature of the route, the cement truck and the motorcycle tragically collided. As part of their investigative process, the authorities will meticulously analyze the surveillance footage to ascertain the precise trigger behind the incident. Subsequently, the deceased's remains will be tendered to her kin for the scheduled commemorative ceremonies initially planned for the 22nd of August. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-08-01 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. WTF has the congestion on the road and the curvature of the route got to do with it! How many times have I read, "The accident was caused by a slippery road! Why can't reporters just state the facts: "Somebody ****ed-up"! 1

swm59nj
Difficult to tell who was exactly at fault. May the deceased RIP. She sustained a head injury. Probably not wearing a helmet. As for the motorbike not having a license plate. Possibly it came off in the impact.
