Tourist Demand Boosts Airlines to Expand Routes in Southeast Asia

MYAirline from Malaysia is also considering offering international flights to Bangkok’s airports, as well as services to other popular Thai destinations like Phuket, Chiang Mai, Krabi, and Samui.

I presume that this has been cleared with Bangkok Airways who have a monopoly on Koh Samui Airport?

Thai did it before. Just pay high fees.

And what happened to Thai Airlines after paying "high fees"? Let me remind you:-

"THAI filed for bankruptcy protection in May 2020 at the Central Bankruptcy Court."

And do you think that MyAirlines will be prepared to pay "high fees"?

Nothing to do with Samui. Thai has been poorly run for decades.

I will not return until the airlines stop Ripping Me Off with their fares… How do they justify them when travel restrictions are gone and fuel prices have collapsed ???

There is no climate change...all of you been brainwashed

Happily I have brains and if i look around me and read the news, nobody has to tell me that there is indeed climate change.... When i cam to Thailand the months December and January were reasonable cool.. We did not need the airco or fan at night.. Nowadays it is still hot even in those months and with higher temperatures in April over more than 40 degrees.. there is surely something going on.. But there are people who don't care or don't think , like you

I have lived off and on in Thailand (Pattaya) since 1984 and the climate has been unchanged during these 40 years. In April/May, which are the warmest months, it is around 34-36 C and in December/January around 18-22 C.

All this talk about "climate change" is nonsense and most people are totally brainwashed.

Most people don't live in Pattaya which has always enjoyed its own micro climate. You think what is happening around the world is just business usual? America, Australia, China, Canada, Europe, Russia. Can they all be wrong? They're either on fire or under 6 feet of water. No, it doesn't happen like that in Pattaya, so it's not happening, right? What a foolish comment.

There are no reasons why tourists should go to Thailand and support the dictatorship. And the only way to make the stupid Thais learn, is to make sure the money from the tourists stops.

Get real.... most of the tourists come from countries that are nigh on dictatorships!

Beware of AirAsia, once you need to contact them there's no one to talk to, no email, no phone number only a Bot, and even that is very limited.

I flew with Air Asia once. Never again!!!

Job done. It took about 10 minutes. Your first link links to an ~85 page pdf file listing 1500 or more mostly nondescript acolytes to the CLINTEL cause, with some "explanatory" text. The second is some unheard of hack telling me nothing new.

My point was, and is, first, this is entirely off topic, so really is a mere troll by you on behalf of the anti-climate change lobby. But second, as I said in my original reply to you, your basis for climate change denial, or at least, the anthropogenic basis thereof, is an on and off 40 year residence in Pattaya, from which you conclude nothing's changed here, ergo there's no such thing as climate change. Great research. I'm sure CLINTEL will welcome your input.

Well as long as your limited personal experience with the weather in one particular spot on the planet proves to you that there is no such thing as climate change, you can just stick with that I guess.
I prefer to listen to people who actually study the subject systematically using the methods of science on a wider scale. I guess that makes me crazy, right?

Listen to the clown and climate alarmist John Kerry and his private jet owned by his wife...bloody liar.

Yes, I also encountered this problem, but surely there must be some way to contact them?  Or is the only option to sue them in case of problems (which depending on the country might not lead to much)?

CIA? OH Wow.

THe acronym was coined by a Singaporean diplomat to represent the rising power of Asia - China, India, and ASEAN. However, he recognizes the friction between China and India that maybe the single most blocker for the rise of CIA. He refers it to Asian CIA to counter the American CIA
