Intoxicated noodle vendor drowns in Samut Prakan shellfish pond
A noodle vendor tragically lost her life, discovered headfirst in a shellfish pond in Samut Prakan province, a fate believed to be the result of intoxication. Her sister revealed her fondness for alcohol, suspecting she lost her footing and slipped into the pond while heading home. The incident was reported today, November 21, with officers from the Ban Khlong Suan Police Station in Phra Samut Chedi district, Samut Prakan, responding to a grim discovery. The lifeless body of 52 year old Malee was found among the grass at the edge of a shellfish pond near the second lane of the district office-Wat Sakhla road, Village 3, Na Kluea subdistrict, Phra Samut Chedi district, Samut Prakan. Officers, accompanied by medical staff from Phra Samut Chedi Hospital and the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, arrived promptly for a thorough investigation. The scene was a footpath by a pond, sprawling over more than 10 rai (approximately 16,000 square metres). The victim, a local of Na Kluea, was discovered lying supine in the water, her head submerged in the pond with her feet resting on the earthen bank. She was clad in a black round-neck T-shirt and black capri trousers, with no shoes. A noticeable abrasion on her right elbow suggested a possible scrape, with skin missing from the area. Foundation staff carefully retrieved her body from the water for further examination on the bank. The investigation included an interview with 60 year old Jaruek, the victim’s sister. According to Jaruek, Malee was a noodle vendor working near the Phra Samut Chedi District Office and had a strong penchant for drinking alcohol. On the evening before the discovery, Malee had cycled about 1 kilometre from her home to a local grocery store to buy alcohol, a routine repeated daily. Jaruek stated that having completed her errands and gone to bed, she woke to the devastating news that her sister had drowned near their home. The usual route home required walking along the embankment of the cockle pond for about 50 metres before reaching the house. Jaruek speculated that Malee, heavily intoxicated the previous night, might have lost her footing due to wet grass and dew-laden paths, leading to her tragic fall into the water. Intoxicated and unable to call for help, Malee succumbed to drowning unnoticed. The family expressed no suspicion regarding the circumstances of Malee’s death, being aware of her habitual drinking. Police documented the scene and recorded the incident in the daily log before entrusting the body to the foundation staff for transport to the forensic institute for an autopsy. Relatives were informed to arrange for the body to be collected for funeral rites following local customs, reported KhaoSod. Mike Johnson Moves to bar transgender women from using women’s bathrooms at the Capitol
I just can't believe all of the excitement over this. Does it just come from people who are scared of any one who is different? I have been using toilets in many countries and i really do not care who is around me. No one is telling you to grab a transgender and taking her with you into the stall. No, you close the door behind you and what you do is private! I am not scared of transgender people and i do not believe(unlike others here) that transgender people are perverts or sick in the head. As for trans people using the same room to change clothes in? Why not? What danger is there in that? Time to let go of your fears and face the world. -

Gifting the Spouse
My reading and professional advice contradicts the idea of making the gift outside Thailand. The TRD has demonstrated that general opinions of unfeasibility and ridiculousness are not of concern to them. This exactly why you need competent professional advice possibly from the TRD or a Thai tax accountant. I can certainly imagine scenarios where gift transfers outside Thailand are not valid. Don't forget that the TRD is concerned with Thailand and Thai revenue. But speculation without an authoritative opinion is of little value. Take a 20 million Baht gift, within Thailand the recipient pays no tax. Should the RD position be that it must be a transaction in Thailand there could be 1,000,000 to pay to the RD on remittance. With that amount at risk it is totally foolhardy not to get professional advice -

That’s it. And if more distractions are required while workers rights are being stripped, Social Security set in a course for bankruptcy, the ACA replaced with ‘an outline of a plan’ and prescription medicine prices hiked, there’ll be even more screaming about immigrants. Celebrate the win before you find out what it is you’ve won.- 2

Russian driver crashes into Thai couple’s motorcycle, denies responsibility
A Thai couple is seeking justice after a Russian man allegedly crashed his SUV into their motorcycle on a Phuket road and failed to take responsibility for their injuries. The victims contacted the Phuket Times, urging it to publicise their story in their pursuit of justice. On Tuesday, November 19, the page shared photos of the accident along with details of the incident. In the caption, the page stated… “Call out! A Russian man sped out of an alley and crashed into the victims’ motorcycle. The foreigner refused to pay compensation and dared the victims to take the matter to court if they wanted the money.” The accident reportedly occurred at the entrance of Soi Bang Ma Lao in the Thalang district of Phuket at around 1pm on November 17. The couple was said to be en route to the woman’s workplace at the time of the collision. The Russian driver allegedly exited Soi Bang Ma Lao at high speed and collided with the motorcycle, which was travelling along the main road. Photos shared by Phuket Times show the Russian man approaching the victims after the crash. The woman is depicted with visible wounds and bruises on her arm, though the injuries sustained by her boyfriend were not disclosed. The couple explained that they were rushed to hospital and a local police officer arranged a meeting with the foreign driver the following day. However, they could not reach an agreement on compensation during the meeting, prompting the couple to plan legal action. Without legal knowledge and fearing they might not receive justice, the couple turned to social media to seek advice and expose what they described as the dangerous driving behaviour of the Russian man. They emphasised that they are now unable to work due to their injuries, leaving them without income. The story sparked criticism of the local police, as many netizens argued that the photos clearly showed the Russian driver’s fault and claimed that compensation should have been arranged without requiring court intervention. Others shared similar experiences of road accidents involving Russian nationals, alleging that police often favour foreign drivers. The couple has not disclosed which police station handled their case, and no updates on the matter have been provided so far. Is Putin Truly Ready to Push the Nuclear Button? Washington calls Moscow's bluff
The vested interests of Blackrock and associates would much prefer avoiding nuclear contamination of the real estate they have so massively acquired via "support" for Zelensky. No less so than the multitude of countries Zelensky has indebted Ukraine with in agreements for the provision of weaponry that in the minds of naive observers is "aid" which implies "free". The boon to the combined global Arms Industry has been the clearance of mostly aged and obsolete munitions and equipment from many sources at (perhaps) less than cost. Ukrainians who were already relatively poor before the Russian invasion and annexation have departed by the millions into the surrounding territories and probably will never return from the advantages provided them as "war refugees" with a quality of living previously denied. That is for those who have escaped the decimation of remaining candidates as cannon fodder to support the "idealism" of NATO expansionism on behalf of half wits on both sides of the conflict. Global chaos is not imminent. It is underway. For the moment it remains a geopolitical game similar to chess but involving some physical jostling and dispute over the timer button a little more than in previous decades. There was a time when the Chess Board was a test measure of political resolve. Even then defectors versus loyalists were famous entities gaining political acclaim in defiance of None of the geopolitical issues that exist are simplistic as some consider can be resolved with such as a nuclear retaliation or a cowardly "preemptive " bs attack on a presumption. "Just effin nuke em " is the ultimate ignorant call to human elimination I have ever heard numerous times and near always from citizens of one country which is not Russian.
