Did he declare them? I was under the impression that he didn't - was that not the reason for him being barred from being an MP? But I did hear that he signed them over to his father, so didn't feel the need to declare them. All a bit academic really - the point I was making was that one politician had undeclared assets of millions of baht, which were not declared (belonging to a friend) and the other had virtually worthless shares (which belonged to/were transferred to his father.) Not too different - except the value of course?

It seems that it is more about holding them than declaring them and apparently they were "on public record throughout his time as an MP from 2019 up to this year", so failure to declare doesn't appear to really come into it.  Apparently he has been temporarily suspended.  Interestingly, he could still have been considered for PM, but was not renominated.  (Personally, I hope he is at least allowed to return as an MP.)

Not much recent news on this. ????‍♂️

The people whose job it is to investigate corruption don't want details of the corruption of someone they investigated to be released? Says a lot about what their actual role is.  ????

  • Laughable.

  • how many witnesses were there - family of his "dead" friend even so - easily remedied - witness "a" , witness "b" etc.   Absolute bow lox

Yes, I note that that article is from way back in July - an awful long time in politics!

A lot of information about why he was suspended, and what he was allowed to do and not do, all of which now seems "old news". I wonder why we are not being allowed to see the same level of information regarding  the findings on the investigation into Prawit's "misdemeanours"?

It needs to be revealed which watch was received against which deal with China especially the useless submarine deal.

Some of those watches cost 40/50 thousand euros a piece, so he must be getting them from somewhere . Dead friends I’ll be damned !
