Special counsel to investigate President Biden's son Hunter

Now, eleven months on since that request, the same group can see that it is obvious that Weiss was working to protect Hunter Biden. They suspect Weiss because he was the one who negotiated the ridiculous immunity plea deal, that was rejected by a judge recently.

So, as far as the GOP is concerned, as a US Attorney, and after four years on this case, Weiss is not special at all and should not be SC. Now Blackburn et al are saying just that, as per the Yahoo story:

Attorney General Merrick Garland “knows Weiss will protect Hunter,” Blackburn scoffed in a social media post on Saturday.

“If Weiss negotiated the sweetheart deal that couldn’t get approved, how can he be trusted as a Special Counsel?” McCarthy said in his post.

As if the GOP had any credibility when it's about Hinter Biden....

I prefer to quote the judge rather than McCarthy.

"I have concerns about the agreement," Noreika said. "I can't let him plea to something if he thinks he has protection from something and he doesn't."

Clark called the deal "null and void" after a prosecutor told the judge that Hunter Biden isn't immune from future charges in the investigation, including potential counts under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

  • Cover-up alert. MTG is quite right.   Why suddenly now SC after so long? Oh, I know! Weiss already let the statute of limitations run out on several other criminal charges and concocted the

Why don't you? Which republicans are on this oversight committee who aren't famous for telling lies. Space lasers!

Star wars.

I really don't think the Republicans would make the claims they are making if no evidence has been found. Comer says their hearings have been frustrated by the slow pace, obstruction and stonewalling of the DOJ and FBI.  Any connection to President Biden may or not emerge once the oversight committee is given all of what it has requested - of course the way things have gone so far, if all that information ever gets to Comer, that would be a huge surprise.

But they don't only make the claim.  They make the claim and say they have proof which will be available any day soon, but no proof is ever forthcoming.

Hell a majority of republicans apparently are still claiming trump won the election and here we are almost 3 years later and still waiting for any valid proof as every claim has been investigated over and over by republican investigators....and as gov kemp of GA just said...there is NO evidence of voter fraud in GA....you are being lied to by trump....Joe Biden won, trump lost....period.  So does it really surprise anyone that they make all sorts of claims agains biden with no proof? It's what they do.

So now have special counsel that they wanted but now suddenly don't want him....how about let the repub special counsel do his investigation and IF IF IF he comes up with probable cause that a crime or crimes was committed then present it to the grand jury and if they agree by all means indict any and all that committed the crimes....and then let it go to the courts...without death threats etc and let the jury look at the evidence and charges and render a verdict.

Actually, they know nothing will be found ( they have been trying for 5 years), so they are already claiming the investigation is rigged and similar B.S.
