But considering the wealth of the owner, should he have class, he would definately not make a fuss with the other parties insurance and take up the expenses of both sides involved. That would be a real gesture of class, deserving to ride in a Rolls. I would have done it if i had such a car and mainly such cash. The driver of the roller has said that she does not want the pick up driver to pay for the damage.

I wouldn't say the car itself is dangerous, more it's size in relation to others on the road. For city driving it's an excellent car, on the highways it's fine too unless you drive like a moron or have someone behind you not paying attention. Its also comfortable on hills, uphill and downhill. One of the reasons I bought one a decade ago was because it had both driver and passenger airbags, not that common in eco cars at the time. I changed it for a ranger in the end but still miss the brio.

Well, according to the local rumor mill that's because the driver doesn't want anyone asking questions about why a "Chinese Woman" was driving a RR. Tip of another "iceberg"? I'm reminded of the Tuhao kerfuffle last year. What a mess that was, and not a lot of follow up. https://thethaiger.com/hot-news/crime/chuwit-vs-the-triads-still-blowing-his-whistle https://www.thaiexaminer.com/thai-news-foreigners/2022/11/10/fake-chinese-embassy-car-and-police-escort/
webfact Posted August 16, 2023 Author Posted August 16, 2023 Rolls of redemption: Chinese woman forgives Thai driver after Rolls-Royce collision by Petch Petpailin Photo via Twitter @RedSkullxxx A Chinese woman’s remarkable display of forgiveness illuminated an incident involving a Thai pickup driver colliding with her 32 million baht Rolls-Royce on a motorway bridge near Bangkok. The accident, captured by a dashcam from a passing vehicle, was shared on the Twitter account Red Skull. In the video, a bronze pickup forcefully collided with the rear of the black Rolls-Royce. The pickup’s occupants, visibly concerned, were observed conversing on their phones, presumably seeking advice on how to proceed. #วัยรุ่นสร้างตัว pic.twitter.com/ByGP78xLMM — Red Skull (@RedSkullxxx) August 13, 2023 The caption on the video said… “Pickup crashes into a Rolls-Royce which is worth 32 million baht. Will the pickup’s car insurance cover the damage cost? The accident occurred at about 3.40pm on the motorway that leads to Bangkok.” Initially, Red Skull’s Twitter account attributed the fault to the pickup driver, accusing them of tailgating and thus causing the collision. However, the Rolls-Royce’s owner, a 21 year old Chinese woman, came forward to clarify the situation. Gottfrid Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Seems like nothing much do talk about. Everything cleared. I am pretty sure the Chinese woman can take care of what needs to be done.
