LOLZ. You can't make this stuff up. The movie will have to be a double length.

There's no legitimate excuse for Sen. Katie Britt to be the only federal elected official from Alabama not endorsing Donald Trump, especially when he went to bat for her in the primary and especially when Trump, the rule of law, and our entire country are under assault."

...in 2022, Trump initially said of Britt, "She is not in any way qualified and is certainly not what our Country needs or not what Alabama wants."

There's going to be a simple reply to this from the judge.....................NO

Trump's legal team seeks to delay federal election interference trial until 2026

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump, the front-runner in polls for the 2024 Republican nomination, is seeking to delay his federal trial on charges related to his efforts to stop the peaceful transfer of power and retain the White House following his 2020 election loss.

In a court filing Thursday, Trump's attorneys recommended starting the trial in April 2026, more than two years after prosecutors are seeking to get the trial underway.

Trump asks to push Jan. 6 trial beyond 2024 election — to April 2026
U.S. proposes a January 2024 trial, starting before primary voting begins, but Donald Trump’s lawyers ask for a major delay citing ‘overwhelming’ amount of evidence

Lawyers for Donald Trump said Thursday that it will take them years to prepare to defend the former president against allegations that he criminally conspired to overturn the legitimate results of the 2020 presidential election, asking a judge to hold his trial in April 2026, long after he finishes running in next year’s presidential election.

In a 16-page filing, attorney Gregory Singer argued for the defense team that putting Trump on trial as requested by prosecutors on Jan. 2, 2024, on charges of plotting to undermine the federal government, obstruct the certification of the 2020 presidential election and disenfranchise voters would mark a “rush to trial” that would violate his constitutional rights and be “flatly impossible” given the enormity of the government’s evidence.

Just follow the law:

And the Sixth Amendment:

”In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed…..

Nobody is denying Trump the assistance of counsel for his defense.

Though he does have a habit of selecting counsel barely able to do the job.

There is Supreme Court precedent on what is adequate counsel.

And the Speedy Trials Act is largely to prevent delays on the part of the Prosecution, not of the defense.

It cuts both ways.

I said largely, not exclusively.

Trump crawls out from under a rock, leaving no stone unturned, to appeal to Judge (Loose) Cannon for help change Prosecutor Jack Smith's and Judge Tanya Chutkan's proposed trial date of Jan 24th 2024.......

"Trump’s notice to Cannon is basically nothing more than a whiny rant to Judge Cannon asking her to take some type of improper action against Jack Smith to cause some delay in the matter before Judge Chutkan."
