Best times of my life have been associated with Thai music from dating twin Nok Noi dancers, going to parties at singers homes and going on trips with some of them, still keen 1200 concerts later, off to see Cham Cham Ram today, would never have considered living here without the music. High incidence of drug use, especially yaba, depression, poverty, fathers not held accountable for children made, or absent altogether, makes for a lot of unhappy people. Illegal immigrants are here also, as many as 5 million in 2005 and counting. Trafficking in children and women coming from other countries is high.
