Taxi Touts

Featured Replies

Last week I noticed the absence of taxi touts at Suvarnabhumi. The only people present were the official AoT staff asking if you wanted on of their AoT limousines. This was the case on two separate occasions as of last week, and is the only time I've ever seen Suvarnabhumi without taxi touts, except for on opening day. Another poster reported the taxi touts still there on the same day when I went through and noticed their absence. Anyone else been through Suvarnabhumi recently and can comment on which day and if the taxi touts were there or not? If enough people comment on this we might be able to figure out a pattern to if and when the taxi touts are re-appearing.

Yes. Great idea. Let's pool our resources, send scouts out there and develop a timetable so we all know when these evil lowlifes are there and when they have their teabreaks so we can sneak through, un-harassed.

Or alternatively, we could just walk past them and ignore them.

Just about a day before your post, I read somewhere (BKK Post, likely) that AoT is going to do something about taxi touts.

I will never understand why don't they copy Changi's taxi routine.
