Vet Chai, new government spokesman

Veterinarian Chai Watcharong said today (Friday) that he has already accepted the post of spokesman for Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin’s government.

 

Chai said he is ready to start work, following discussions with Srettha on Thursday. Chai, an expert in agricultural economics, is on Pheu Thai’s economic team and has been involved in drafting agriculture-related policies for the party.

 

Asked about working with the media, Chai said he welcomes advice from the media professionals covering the government beat.
