A good dentist in Southern Thailand

I had good root canal work done at LDC Nakhon Si Thammarat a few years ago, English speaking doctor. Very good. Probably changed now, must be similar dentists all over the south of the country in the big cities.

Not so sure I'd go out to the islands for serious dental work, you'd be better heading for one of the big Southern cities, but avoid the tourist meccas, Phuket for example would undoubtedly cost you much more. Nakhon Si Thammarat or HatYai are ok. If me I'd look to HatYai. I lived there some years ago and knew a very good lady dentist, I just tried to find her but can't see anything online, so perhaps she's moved on. But there are many excellent dentists in HatYai.

I was thinking Koh Phangan had a couple of good dentists, but I'm just confused. Thank you for pointing me in a direction it means a lot to me. First hand experience is always good.

Bangkok Hospital in Samui has a dental office adjacent to the main building.  Been using them for crowns etc for years.  Top service and they actually advised against two clinics assessments saving me money.  Their regular staff is good but they save major jobs for a specialist who comes in from BKK a few times a week.  There are only two reviews both one star but don't let that scare you off.  I've had excellent care there. https://maps.app.goo.gl/kEywa1uvatAsB5G97
