Popular Post snoop1130 Posted September 14, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 14, 2023 Praween Chanklai, aka “Kamnan Nok, operates two construction firms, P. Phatanarungrod and P. Raweekanok, which have won contracts in 1,544 construction projects in 11 provinces combined. These contracts have been worth 7 billion baht since 2011, according to police investigation reports. Praween, former head of Ta Kong sub-district in Mueang district of Nakhon Pathom province, is currently being held in police custody for the alleged murder of a highway police officer and wounding another at his house on September 6th, after one of the victims declined his request for the promotion of one of his men. Several state agencies, among them the Department of Special Investigation, the National Anti-Corruption Commission, the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission, the Revenue Department and the Central Investigation Bureau are investigating Praween’s vast construction business, to determine whether the contracts with state and local agencies were won through price collusion or the intimidation of competitors. retarius Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Wifey told me that Kamnan Nok is only in his 30s and is worth over $100 million US. Surely he did not manage this without some help? 7 Billion baht is about $210 million US, so he has excellent profit margins. He also looks, to me, more like he is in his 50s than in his 30s. I hasten to add that wifey doesn't excel at mathematics, so I am not claiming what I say, second hand, is true. But what an idiot to throw his life away because he got angry? 1

I hasten to add that wifey doesn't excel at mathematics, so I am not claiming what I say, second hand, is true. But what an idiot to throw his life away because he got angry? I believe he took it over when his father died so not just built it up himself. There was something on the news about how on some occasions he's put in bids for contracts literally at the minute, like 4.29 when bidding closes at 4.30. So he obviously knows just what to bid. If they follow the money, I'm sure you'll find plenty of unusually wealthy local and government officials. He's also known for not handling himself well on the drink. But it remains to be seen if he'll really face the music. The CCTV evidence hasn't been recovered yet, and I haven't heard news that any of those present are ready to present as witnesses, though the pressure on them now must be quite intense. Without clear evidence, surely the lawyers will argue that the now-deceased killer just took matters into his own hands. It would take big money but he could afford to drop a couple of hundred million baht if there's a way out. He probably wouldn't be able to go back to business as usual but with nominees and some muddying of the waters, he'd probably still be part of things. 3 2
Sydebolle Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Nice to share a picture of a trusty representative of an urban sub-district of Naphon Pathom. I just hope that the voters will remember a lesson of how a huge boar is feeding sheer endlessly at the troughs so nicely kept filled by the tax payers. Even for a complete idiot like me it is simply not possible to understand, how anyone can legally earn such a fortune. But then again, every country gets the government it deserves. Good riddance, most likely, yet I would not have wished him to take the one-way ticket to Hades .........
