Thai anti-narcotics police made one of the kingdom's biggest drug busts ever, seizing drugs worth over $8 million dollars. During a late-night raid in central Nakhon Pathom city on Wednesday night , officers discovered around 15 million methamphetamine tablets and arrested four men. The U.N’s. drug agency’s report in June warned that the huge trade in methamphetamine and other illegal drugs shows no signs of slowing down.

The new satellite terminal at Suvarnabhumi International Airport opened to the public yesterday with a soft launch.

 
The new satellite terminal, known as SAT-1, will increase the overall passenger numbers to around 60 million a year from the current 45 million. The new terminal will be fully operational by the end of the year, a new third runway is due to open in 2025.
