Please get informed how Florida's gov. Is handling the illegal problem. I wouldn't call that nothing.

Yes, bussing the illegals to those states that support illegal immigrants is a classic response to the situation. Strangely, those cities, eg New York don't appreciate the chance to support them.

Conversely,  Republican talk about illegal immigration, but never do anything about it. Yes, they are fooling you.

Was Trump not a Republican? Is his wall nothing? Who cancelled it before it was completed, leaving big gaps for the horde to pour through?

Yeah, the usual Republican approach: lots of promises, very little action.

He is playing you for a sucker.

You don't get it:

The vast majority of illegals come in via legal ports of entry, with fake papers.

The big agriculture employers bring them  in on school buses for the harvest, using third party recruiters. What would the Wall do to stop that?

From what I have seen, politicians of both sides are reluctant to do anything ( despite what they say ) to restrict the flow of cheap labour into the US. IMO one can't say either side actually oppose illegal immigration.

If the Democrats actually wanted to stop the horde entering from Mexico they could have voted for the wall and a strong border force to prevent the horde from climbing over it. They didn't, and Biden cancelled it. So much for opposing illegal immigration.

Because the Wall wouldn't do much to stop illegal immigration.

Under prior presidents, there already was a Wall built where it matters. Trump's idiot Wall would be built where nobody crosses.

how does it feel to believe politicians who get their funding from employers of illegal immigrants?

To stop illegals is easy: go out in the fields, check their papers, arrest management, and work up the company ladder to detain anyone involved in human trafficking.

But that would imprison Republican donors.

I have no problem with any of that.

And, at the same time, close all ports of entry to any trying to gain entry without visas. Mercilessly pursue and execute the cartels who are involved in the horror that is human smuggling. Do not release anyone into the country- house them in camps near the border until their cases can be heard.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

President Biden has professed a commitment to fight this multifaceted criminal enterprise, yet his immigration policies have only exacerbated the problem.

The Biden administration has embraced the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act in a way calculated to increase them.

The absence of border security, in conjunction with nonexistent interior enforcement, has made the U.S. a fertile breeding ground for human trafficking.

the closing of the ports of entry idea is a non-starter.

First off, Republican donors would lose their cheap labor, and so that would never happen.

Nixon tried it in 1971, and it was a mess.

Biden's administration is catching more illegals than Trump did.

What happened to that money that Mexico was going to give for building the Wall?

Fail.

Nixon also won reelection in 1972 with a huge landslide.

I didnt say to close the ports of entry, just close them to those who dont have proper authorization. Now what about the other points- the cartels, opening camps for processing, etc?

Understand you don't have a clue.

please tell me what the House Republicans have done about illegal immigration.

Just posting junk without any facts is worthless.

The problem seemed to get better under Trump, then got worse under Biden. Just look at the numbers.  But again, pointing fingers and saying, "THEY didn't do anything" is a poor way to excuse the current administration's lack of action.

The numbers show that more illegals are being caught under Biden than Trump.

More to the point, Trump had no interest in stopping illegal immigrants, he hired them.

If that's true, why did he start building the wall to keep them out?
