Almost 12 million meth pills seized in Nakhon Phanom and Phichit

Anti-narcotics police have seized almost 12 million meth pills in two separate incidents in the northern provinces of Nakhon Phanom and Phichit today (Wednesday).

 

In the first incident, police laid in wait at a road checkpoint in Nakhon Phanom until a car, which matched the specifications in an investigative report, showed up. They stopped the car for a search and uncovered about 4.8 million meth pills hidden in the trunk.

 

The car’s driver, identified only as “Thirayuth”, and his female companion Boonruang, reportedly told the police that they were about to deliver the drugs to a customer in Saraburi province.

Demand and profit must ne big.  Thats enought for a lot of drugged up people for many days.

No it will stay about the same. It might even go down because they'll realize Thailand is still fighting the war against drugs.  Most people won't go from a drug which is suppose to chill them out to one that hypes them up.
