KhunLA Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Was supposed to be Bologna, and aside from not cooperating, coming out of the 'press', it tasted a lot like the ingredients. And more like chicken roll, or a very firm Chicken Pâté. Actually taste pretty good, if you forget it was supposed to be Bologna. Most 'easy' recipes call for chicken, seasoned up, and gelatin to hold it together, along with not put in the meat press.... oops Bologna is cheap enough, and uses the cheap organ meat, I won't eat, stand alone, so a good thing for me. The store bought ingredients aren't too unhealthy.
KhunLA Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Don't think I ever made chicken noodle soup from scratch before. OK, except for egg noodles. Way too much broth on hand.
KhunLA Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Not exactly cooking, but needs to be done a couple times a week to have a constant supply of Milk & Water Kefir 1

KhunLA Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Early dinner and on a salad kick this week. Yesterday was usual underneath, topped with salami, cheddar & salsa. Tonight, paired with pork tenderloin ... Usual suspects underneath; 3 lettuces, tomato, onion, R/G peppers, carrot. This one topped with orange & parmesan.
KhunLA Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Eating healthy is too easy. Just takes a few more minutes, and wee bit of planning. Salmon, saute'd shrooms & onions, w/lite drizzle of Asian dressing. 3 different days, 3 different salads & proteins.
