This 'super app' is now going to be used for many other purposes I imagine .........purely in an effort to strengthen state control over its people.......and not to benefit its citizens.

The model is China.

Of course it is, probably the most advanced cashless society in the world. It is what the people of China want, they don't want to use cash. I went across the river on a ferryboat with the fare around 3 baht, everyone paid by phone except this fool who used money and got no change.

Good job Thailand didn't look to the US, hardly got to grips with Chip & Pin. Paranoia is one of the biggest obstacles to progress, as can be seen by the comments.

World is awash with "super apps" already, Facebook, Twitter etc,  certainly not to the benefit of anyone. Phone addicts are well and truly solid state controlled.
