A former construction tycoon, Premchai Karnasuta, was released from on parole from prison yesterday (Tuesday), after serving a jail term for poaching in Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife sanctuary in Kanchanaburi province in December 2021.

Long time Danish resident stuck in Thai immigration detention in complicated case

Mr Stig Wulff, a 65 years old Dane, is currently held in the detention center of the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok, He is caught in a conflicting situation between the court in Samui and the immigration bureau.

Businessman Survives Horrific Crash, Flipping Over on the Expressway, 2 Injured

On October 18, at 05:56 AM, a serious accident occurred on the Chaloem Maha Nakhon Expressway in Bangkok, leaving two people injured. The incident was investigated by Pol. Lt. Col. Chaiyapat Thapchom, Deputy Chief of the Traffic Control Center, Expressway Authority of Thailand.

Udon Thani sisters win 200,000 baht each in lottery, attributing success to father’s dream

Three sisters from Thung Fon District, Udon Thani Province scooped second prize in the government lottery. The lucky number, 431314, was revealed in a dream by their late father, bringing each sister a windfall of 200,000 baht.

TAT asks for Bt600m to promote tourism during the fourth quarter of this year

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is seeking Bt600 million from the Central Fund for a tourism promotion campaign and the holding of events, domestically and abroad, highlighting the architectural marvel of Wat Arun Ratchawararam Temple, or Wat Arun, and Nakhon Ratchasima, in an effort to increase tourist arrivals to six million during the last quarter of this year.

Pattaya Pub Raid Uncovers Two Pubgoers on Illegal Drugs

Two unidentified pubgoers were found to have taken illegal drugs during a Pattaya police raid on an entertainment venue early Wednesday morning, October 18th. The venue also did not have an operating license.
