The Office of Justice has issued a clarification. Although the court was not closed and did not prohibit anyone from entering, this act prompted the intervention of the court’s police, tasked with maintaining peace and order, reported Daily News. The police officer encountered resistance and even a physical altercation from a group that was accompanying the young woman. Despite giving them multiple warnings, the group continued to be uncooperative. As a result, court police had to use force to control the situation and ensure everyone's safety.
