Savannakhet now require bank statements (400k) for multi entry

I was just at the Thai consulate, the officer at the desk told me it changed last week.

Now need to show bank statement with 400k in the bank. He didn't seem too happy about it. I changed my application to a 90 day single entry, no bank statement was required for this.

Savannakhet about to get even quieter, I guess.
