Three more Thai nationals than originally reported were abducted by Hamas militants on October 7th, raising the number of Thai hostages to 22, while the death toll remains 32 and 19 injured, according to the latest report from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry did not give any details about the three additional abductees.

During the weekend, House Speaker Wan Muhamad Noor Matha told the media that he had received a report from his advisor, who is currently in Tehran seeking Iranian help to secure the release of the hostages, that all Thai abductees are safe.

That is Israel's fault too, correct? Just want to make sure I understand things from the enlightened perspectives of my friends on the Left.

Well yes in a way. Right ring Israeli zealots have increased tensions a lot but they haven't slaughtered babies, children and adults or taken hostages. The blame for what is happening now lies squarely at the feet of Hamas. Religion is the worst thing that exists on this planet. You can throw power and greed into the mix also.

Irony. Recent reports suggest Hammas close to releasing Thai hostages but now three more added?

The most recent report said Hamas considers all hostages to be "Israeli" regardless of origin. Oh except the Russians it seems. They're very principled, doncha know.
