Disabled woman fatally electrocuted in due to faulty pole in Pathum Thani

A tragic accident occurred in Sam Khok, Pathum Thani province when a disabled woman was electrocuted after touching an electric pole. The incident happened as the 46 year old woman, identified as Wila, was returning from a local shop where she had purchased an energy drink.

 

It is suspected that the electric shock resulted from a faulty electrical connection on the pole, which had been temporarily fixed with insulating tape today.

 

At the scene of the incident, Wila was found lying next to the electric pole, with an energy drink bottle and a disabled person’s card beside her.

 

A local shopkeeper, 46 year old Piyapet (no surname given) recounted that Wila had come to her shop to buy an energy drink. On her way back, she crossed the road and held onto the electric pole due to unstable legs.

This is the third reported incident of someone being electrocuted by badly maintained electrical poles on a public path. 2 of the victims have died. Why are the executives of the companies concerned not charged with corporate manslaughter?

However I see a ground strip on the corner, they forget to make a connection from the pole to the G.S.?

And he is testing the bolts which hold the pole to the ground, which you can see is earthed, but that's as far as it goes, no where  near the pole. I am sure the poor woman would not have touched that part.

Electrocution does not necessarily cause death, so yes.
