I Want To Post Photos & Vid Clip To Online Gallery, Any Recommendations?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

I want to post up some photos and a few small video clips to a free online gallery.

I want then to be able to email the link to my photos out to a group of people.

I just wanted a simple, basic, and hopefully free one. (I have no plans to do anything fancy with the photos)

Can anyone recommended any?

I tried the Yahoo one before, and I found it a bit messy to work, when trying to send to a specific group, as I had different gallery for different people, for example I wanted my mother to see the nice, respectable shots, but not get access, to the drink and party photos! LOL!!! Ok that yahoo thing is not really the issue.

Any other simple, basic, free and very user friendly, I am very keen to hear about.

Thanks

Gerry

I think flickr is the king of the photosharing sites.. And a few onths ago I did try a few of the alternatives.

Really nice systems of organizing.. Really slick slideshow tools.. You can embed pics / vids and slideshows simply and easily in your own sites (PM me for my home page and I will show you how it looks).. And yes you can password protect some photosets.

Its free for basic but to be honest as soon as I had played around for a few days I took a sub for the unlimited features.

PBase is ok for just some galleries, looks nice enough, wish flickr could color customise a bit more.. But really if thats all I wanted I would probably just use vGallery script and host my own.
