Protest has been and gone and your somewhat inflammatory claims were apparently disproven. No reports I've seen that support your claims. Perhaps you have some I missed.

If you can't see that the protests are because the israelis are 'apparently' committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, I can only shake my head in sorrow that some are apparently willfully blind to the horror being inflicted on innocent children.

Unfortunately in the UK now we have two tier policing, many have to rely on social media sites to see what is going on. How ever you care to spin this and spin this you are doing, why you do it we can only guess. The Metropolitan Police have totally lost the plot, they have lost the support of the nation with their clownish behaviour and are not in any way neutral. 

Anyway if people were honest with themselves it has proven that Suella Braverman was correct all the time, not that there was any doubt from the majority of the nation.

Given that it was "started off" in 1948 and has only gotten worse, I understand why they did what they did. I'm not saying it wasn't wrong, but IMO the oppression by the israelis for many decades made something like it inevitable. Treat people badly, humiliate them daily, deprive them of any hope for the future, murder their children, steal their land for illegal settlements under the protection of heavily armed soldiers, lock them up in the world's biggest prison and when they protest send in tanks and murder thousands of them, but expect them to not resist is hypocrisy writ large, IMO.

 

The biggest problem though, is that israelis are contaminated with hatred for Palestinians, and brutalised by having to serve in a military which is used primarily to oppress millions of people simply for being born Palestinian. That is called racism, where I'm from.

 

I doubt I can persuade you or any of your ilk to see things from a Palestinian point of view, but walking in someone else's shoes is the only way to understand them.

Extremists like JonnyF perhaps don’t see themselves as extremists. An extremist is so far to one end that they will refuse to accept any truth that doesn’t align with their extremist beliefs. That’s different from someone who has a genuine belief, but who is able to modify their stance in the face of overwhelming evidence. But you can spot the extremists, because they no matter what, they don’t change nor modify their language, even in the face of overwhelming evidence. Flying a Union Jack is not  a criminal offence, so he must have been arrested for a real offence.

The fact that the individual was arrested whilst carrying a Union Jack is neither here nor there. He could just as easily been carrying a shopping bag. Neither action is a criminal offence.

 

The clip which you reposted claimed that the individual was arrested for flying a Union Jack. The onus is on you to supply supporting evidence to support this claim.

More like a contrived attempt at twisting things - it's quite obvious what it's about in the context of the protests. It's quite obvious that there is no much future for such a one-state nonsense. It's very obvious Palestinians aren't much invested in democracy and human rights. I doubt most of the people marching could articulate anything semi-coherent and fact-based on these matters.
