A BIG BUNDLE OF PIRATED T-SHIRTS bearing the names and logos of world and Thai national football teams have been seized at the Thai-Cambodian border in Aranyaprathet district of Sra Kaeo, police said.

The authorities seized a total of 290 counterfeit T-shirts in two large duffel bags thrown away on the side of a natural border path by an unidentified smuggling suspect who had fled the scene after he had slipped in and out of Thai territory riding a motorcycle with a sidecar, the police said.

The counterfeit items had been allegedly destined for Rong Klua market in Aranyaprathet across the border from Poi Pet township of Cambodia.

Be much easier to just go after Lazada and Shopee, plenty of knockoff shirts being sold there.

Slightly to the side of the topic, but counterfeit goods would only start to diminish if Thailand produced its own intellectual property. The, the police and government would really crack down on pirated goods.

After all, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton all owned pirated copies of the Encyclopedia Britannica.

All made by Chinese factories in Cambodia.
