Oh dear...shades of Hongkong. I'm sure Chinese tourists will just love having Chinese police monitor them when on holiday.   Maybe Russian and Indian police will be invited also......

Sretta, you are being naive. The CCP's goal is to set up police stations all around the world so that they can go after Chinese citizens they don't like. Look at what the CCP has been doing secretly in the USA, for example. Then they will probably go after anyone online in Thailand who is critical of the CCP. Their goal isn't to create confidence, Sretta. Wake up!

Happened in Sanokville Cambodia when the local Police could not deal  with the Chinese mafia.

As if Tourists felt safe when viewing hoards of Police conducting their frequent patrols for their safety, they now have to

contend with and witness a Foreign Police Force as well

its pretty bad when you are incapable of Policing your own Country

WTF? Chinese cops policing Thai streets? Is that to protect or to monitor Chinese tourists? No matter, no country should allow foreign control over their laws.

The said meeting on Tuesday 15th November will never happen because Tuesday is the 14th.

Wow  this really instills confidence in the Thai police force.

This is a fantastic idea. The Thai government will save money they would otherwise spend on Thai policemen. They should soon invite the Chinese Army to protect Thai borders, and maybe have a  few strategically placed Chinese political officers to help stabilize Thai politics. I think the future has finally arrived

Ok, break it up. Who started this. Where are you from.. The US sir.. Lock him up...

Where are you from.. China sir. Now you guys calm down and have a nice time with your stay in Pattaya..

Maybe the Chinese Police will be enforcing the next lockdowns here?

The CCP is a massive contributor and influence to the World Health Organization, whose "Pandemic Treaty" overrides national sovereignty to every patron country signed up to it. Wonderful news..

Nothing new, Russia outsourced an army (the Wagner Group).  Maybe a good idea to outsource a police force if the one you have you have shown you cant control.

Yeah Wagner group was a great idea  ,this is to spy on Chinese citizens.

Thapanee concluded by saying having Chinese police patrol with Thai police will make not only Chinese tourists feel safer but also tourists from many other countries, who, according to him, trust the Chinese police system.

Ummm....NO! I do not feel safer knowing Chinese police are patrolling Thailand, you got to be out of your mind to even make this statement. I think that someone needs to check Thapanee and Srettha and make sure they are not communists sympathizers, the last thing Thailand needs is to turn into another Southeast Asian communist nation.

It's a sickness

Chinese human rights record is appaling ask any resident of Tibet or Hongkong.

The royal thai police record of corruption is commonplace so asking the Chinese police to help out is a brainless idea from our stand in puppet Prime minister.

When the trucker protest in Ottawa was broken up it was done by mercenaries who were flown in for the task.

Here the Thai rak Thai thing is real, but the locals are just vermin to the Chinese.  Farangs are even less than that, Gweilo filth.  There could be club weilding commies on Walking Street.

Nothing new other than the Thai government openly discussing this. How long have US law enforcement agencies (CIA, FBI, DEA, etc.) been in Thailand?  Maybe 50 - 60 years?

I also wonder who these tourists from other countries are that trust Chinese police!

Maybe they could 'Invite' the British Police to work alongside the Traffic Cops. :coffee1:

So new taxes targeting Westerners world finances , Chinese manipulation (censorship) of Thai media, and now Chinese police patrolling Thai streets........Umm, I think Western society needs to write-off Thailand for the future, no more investments, and exodus of capital.

This is still the "Kingdom of Thailand", right?

1 hour ago, it is what it is said:

wait and see...

on Tuesday, November 15th, and top Thai police, tourist police, and Central Intelligence Bureau officers would attend to hammer out the specifics of the plan.

In what year does November 15th fall on a Tuesday, in 2023 November 15th happens to be a Wednesday, might be an extremely long wait.

If a broadway show the head line would be "Kingdom of Thailand". And right under it would be "written and directed by China"

You do understand that it was all in the plan to begin with. Most people don't study or research but it was always set in stone for China to be the next #1 super power and that's why you are seeing very strong agression. The U.S. has already cemented their demise thanks to crime, political craziness and policies that the rest of the world won't accept. If Russia was killing children at the rate Israel was, the u.s. would condemn but knowing what they do and acting as if all is well...hmmm. The u.s. has helped so many countries over the years but they never really understood the notion of taking care of your own. If your own nation turns on you, Game Over. What does the future hold? Who knows but China is taking advantage non-the-less. Will be interesting to see what happens.

There would be no one left if the Russian Police came, let's not forget all the conscription fugatives.
