A deceased man, aged between 30 and 40 years old, was discovered in a ditch in Soi Tha Kham 20, Bang Khun Thian District, Bangkok.

The body, shot six times and showing several stabbing wounds, was hidden under leaves, presumably to avoid detection by locals. The man, wearing a brown T-shirt with an image of Luang Por Thong Klueng of Wat Chedi Hoi, Pathum Thani, and long jeans, had been dead for no less than two days.

The gruesome discovery was made around 10am today, by a local woman who had initially thought the offensive odour was emanating from a dead dog. The local police and forensic experts were immediately notified. Upon inspection, it was found that the deceased was also wearing a black Casio watch and a silver ring. A keyring and nail clippers were found in his jeans pocket.

Residents in the area, who wish to remain anonymous, mentioned that they had not recognised the man, indicating that he was likely not from the area. Additionally, they revealed that labourers often gather in the vacant land for drinking sessions. However, they had not heard anything unusual in the past two to three days, reported KhaoSod.
