Silom/Patpong, Royal City Avenue/New Phetchaburi Road and Ratchadapisek

Anyne want to guess why these re the 3 satellite spots for 4am closing.

 

 

RCA I understand I guess as there are a lot of bars that Thais go to.

 

Patpong except for the Thiya and it's Japanese crown and Silom 4 with its drag shows it is dead.

 

Ratchadepisek is in Hua Kwan is that not where the Chinese businesses are.

 

I would have thought that

 

Khao san 

 

NANA ASOKE 

 

Thonglor would have been the 3 choices.

 

Thoughts anyone?

 

Seems they are going to try to revive dead areas with this law or show why it does not work.

RCA, Patpong and Rachadapisek are the "official" nightlife areas. I read once that if you wanted to, for example, apply for a licence for a new gogo bar, you could do it in those three areas but anywhere else it would not be allowed (while existing licences can continue to be used).
