Popular Post snoop1130 Posted November 14, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 14, 2023 Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said today that his Bhumjaithai party will support the government’s loan bill for the digital wallet scheme, if it does not contravene the Constitution. As a member of the coalition government, he said that, although the scheme was initiated by the Pheu Thai party, the success of the scheme should be treated as an achievement of the whole government. The Bhumjaithai party leader said that the party’s MPs will definitely vote for the bill in parliament because, when the bill reaches parliament, it means that it has been approved by the cabinet, the Council of State and the Bank of Thailand. I'm sure Srettha will now wipe his brow that that has been cleared up.
Sydebolle Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 ....... if it is constitutional - otherwise we just rewrite the constitution once more again until it fits our ideas ;-)
bamnutsak Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 He's got a thin line to walk on this one. His first step seems like a safe one. Many hurdles for this idiotic idea to clear before MP's are forced to vote. 15 hours ago, snoop1130 said: it means that it has been approved by the cabinet, the Council of State and the Bank of Thailand. then you have the Constitutional Court (at a minimum). Think this one will die a very slow death. The last estimate by Srettha or a minion was September 2024. Stick a fork in this one. 1 1
