Cyber police arrest two for purchasing guns online in Thai sting

Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) officers arrested two customers who bought guns online from a factory in Phichit province. The arrest followed an undercover operation where police pretended to buy through a popular YouTube channel after allegations of threats to a family were made today.

BMA wants MRT to take over remaining mass transit projects – Governor

Teenager arrested in Phuket for theft of statues from temples

Police in Phuket have arrested a young man on suspicion of stealing religious statues from Chinese shrines in the south of the island. The unnamed 18 year old was arrested in the district of Kathu, according to a Phuket Express report.

Phuket villas raided over illegal online gambling

Two luxury villas on the southeast coast of Phuket have been raided as part of a major investigation into illegal online gambling. Part of the investigation showed that the backend of the ‘UFA online gambling network’ had a daily credit inflow of over 72 billion baht (some 2 billion USD) from international websites.
