snoop1130 Posted December 11, 2023 Share Posted December 11, 2023 Excessive levels of PM2.5 dust have been measured in 71 areas of Bangkok and its peripherals in the past 24 hours, with the highest level being recorded in Paknam sub-district of Samut Prakan province, according to the Pollution Control Department at 7am Monday morning. The PM2.5 levels range from 27.3 to 65.9 microns (μg), against the safe threshold level of 37.5μg. Checked IQ air a few minutes ago: 160 in Bangkok; 152 in Pattaya. Which might lead one to assume the majority of pollutants are not from vehicles... New Delhi = 251 and Osaka = 8. Todays AQI map below - numbers for Bangkok range from 17 to 155.
